The least expensive single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is the 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon Revilo Vineyard (13.9% alcohol). Deep ruby/purple in color, with fresh, lively blackcurrant and black cherry flavors, new saddle leather notes and background oak, this medium to full-bodied wine is fresh, not terribly complex, but highly satisfying, impressively pure and long. This wine should drink nicely for at least another decade and hopefully develop more nuances and complexity.
