The 2020 Pinot Noir Estate Vineyard was matured in 76% new oak for 16 months. It has a medium ruby color and a core of red cherry fruit with accents of mushroom, tobacco and Angostura bitters. The light-bodied palate is soft and refreshing with understated, spicy fruit and a satisfying, juicy finish. 808 cases were made.

The 2019 Pinot Noir Estate Vineyard comes from Pommard, Swan and Mt Eden clone vines. Medium ruby, it has a well of aromas, segueing from cranberry, pomegranate and rhubarb, to tones of orange peel, forest floor, wild mint and iron. Medium-bodied, it offers intense, sweet berry fruits on a slender, powdery frame, with bursts of fresh acidity and a very long finish with a flourish of spicy accents. It has potential to develop in the cellar over the next decade, but it's hard to resist all that upfront, youthful fruit.

The 2018 Pinot Noir Estate Vineyard comes from vines planted in 2002. It has a medium ruby-purple color and aromas of crushed blackberries, red cherries, cinnamon, dried tobacco leaves and charcuterie. The palate is medium-bodied with dark fruits, a firmer, grainy frame and a mineral streak, finishing long and still a tad youthfully closed. 629 cases were made.

Pale to medium ruby-purple, the 2017 Pinot Noir Estate Vineyard opens with crushed blueberry and blackberry, black cherry, cinnamon and vanilla touches plus licorice, loamy earth, dried leaves and tobacco/cedar hints. Medium-bodied, rounded and wonderfully silky and concentrated, it offers lovely flavor layers, a youthfully firm frame of tannins and great juicy freshness on the amazingly long, layered and energetic finish. This will reward another few years of cellaring. 663 cases produced.

From heritage clones, the pale to medium ruby-purple colored 2016 Pinot Noir Estate Vineyard is lusciously scented of boysenberry and blueberry jam, rose petal, garrigue, perfumed earth and orange peel with notes of prosciutto and salted licorice. Light to medium-bodied, it offers great intensity of perfumed fruits, softly framed by finely grained tannins and juicy freshness, finishing long and energetic with oodles of floral perfume. This is so pretty it’s intoxicating! 674 cases produced.
