The 2019 Chardonnay Kali Hart takes its time to offer up scents of white peaches, Meyer lemon, dried herbs and acacia, and the medium-bodied palate is rounded with a core of ripe fruit and a creamy finish.

Made with a 5% splash of new French oak, the 2017 Chardonnay Kali Hart has an inviting nose of baked Golden Delicious apples, guava, lemon cream, honeycomb and crushed nuts with minerally hints. The palate is medium to full-bodied with gregarious, tropical-tinged fruits and great freshness to lift the long finish.

The 2015 Chardonnay Kali Hart gives up notes of fresh grapefruit, Golden Delicious apples and white peaches with hints of lemongrass and shaved almonds. The medium-bodied palate is soft, rounded and savory, with loads of apple and citrus layers, finishing on a yeasty note.

A beautifully fresh, clean and crisp Chardonnay that offers plenty of character in a medium-bodied, gulpable package, the 2011 Chardonnay Kali Hart has quality citrus and mineral-tinged aromas and flavors, juicy acidity and a soft, supple texture. It’s a solid value and should drink nicely for a handful of years. Drink now-2015. I was blown away by these current releases and across the board the wines show beautiful balance and loads of class.
