Fresh and with tonic fruit, I like the 2017 Collio Pinot Bianco even more than the Friuliano, thanks to its vertical delivery of fresh aromas. You'll find sweet layers of pear and green apple, along with more exotic notes of saffron and crocus flower in the bouquet. It would liven up any pie with creamy chicken and vegetables. Some 16,600 bottles were made.

Surprising rich despite the difficult vintage, the 2011 Collio Pinot Bianco opens to good density, medium body and slightly less aromatic intensity than you might find in 2010 or 2009. You do get tones of white peach and pear that glide smoothly over the senses. The drawback however is the persistency that proves clipped in overall length. Drink: 2014-2016. The 2010 Pinot Bianco caresses the palate with expressive layers of sweet, perfumed fruit. Pinot Bianco has long been a strong suit here, and the 2010 is no exception.
