The 2020 Chardonnay slowly unfurls to reveal notes of key lime pie, yuzu and lemongrass, plus minerally suggestions of wet pebbles, chalk dust and brine. The medium to full-bodied palate delivers exhilarating tension and a zippy backbone, breaking through to fantastic citrusy intensity and a long chalky finish. 1,945 cases were made.

The 2019 Chardonnay slowly opens to offer scents of fresh Golden Delicious apples, white peaches and honeydew melon with hints of lemon drops, sea spray and powdered ginger. Medium-bodied, the palate is elegantly styled and refreshing with a lovely suggestion of creaminess to the texture and a spicy kick to the finish.

The 2018 Chardonnay comes 77% from Napa county and 23% from Sonoma county and about one-third of the fruit went through malolactic. It gives up somewhat restrained notions of fresh pears, spiced apples and warm peaches with hints of nutmeg, lightly buttered toast and acacia honey. Medium to full-bodied, the palate packs-in the fresh, crunchy apple and pears flavors with a racy backbone and silken textured finish. 1,650 cases produced.

The 2017 Chardonnay delivers notes of spiced apples, poached pears and guava with a waft of baking bread. Medium to full-bodied, it gives a good intensity of baked apples and pears in the mouth with a lively line and spicy finish.

The 2015 Chardonnay gives a riper expression of pineapple, warm apricots and ginger with suggestions of cedar, cashews and brioche. Medium to full-bodied, rich, toasty and wonderfully spicy in the mouth, it offers a pleasant oiliness to the texture and a good, long finish.
