The white 2022 Viognier showcases the warm year with a ripe wine with 14.53% alcohol, despite an early harvest. It's a wine with an exuberant nose and a voluptuous palate with a bitter twist in the finish. Only 20% of the wine was put in barrel, the rest was in stainless steel. 14,393 bottles produced. It was bottled in April 2023.

The 2021 Viognier shows very good freshness and a moderate 13.5% alcohol and some citrus notes. It's velvety and tender with some spiciness from 30% of the wine being fermented and matured in new French oak barrels for six months. It's still young and has balance and potential to develop in bottle. 20,715 bottles produced. It was bottled in April 2022.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the freshness of the 2020 Viognier, a wine with 13.44% alcohol, a lot lower than in the past and lower than any of the other wines I tasted next to it. It's pale and aromatic, floral and herbal, fresh and delicate, with integrated oak and a pH of 3.5 giving it a sensation of freshness. Thirty percent of the must fermented in new French oak barrels where it matured with the lees for six months while the rest fermented and matured in stainless steel vats, both with selected yeasts and lactic bacteria. This has to be the finest white produced at the property so far. 25,132 bottles produced. It was bottled in June 2021.

I also tasted a recently bottled 2019 Viognier, a ripe and varietal example of the grape with intense aromas of apricot and flowers. It's certainly heady with 14.5% alcohol, and it has a round and lush palate that reveals a soft texture and moderate acidity. It fermented with dry yeasts and matured in new French oak barrels for four to six months. 13,200 bottles produced. It was bottled in May 2020.

It's been a while since I tasted their varietal Viognier, a wine sold mostly in Spain, and I was very pleasantly surprised by the freshness in the 2018 Viognier, reflecting a cooler vintage. Furthermore, they used less oak, and the wood feels much better integrated, which comes through as citrus and floral, with unusual finesse and even acidity for the variety. It's still a wine of good volume, concentration and weight, but 2018 is probably the most balanced to date, more gastronomical because it's lighter and won't overpower food. It was bottled in June 2019. 20,600 bottles produced.
