The 2021 Ladoix 1er Cru Les Joyeuses offers up aromas of incense, rose petals, cherries and sweet red berries, followed by a fleshy attack that segues into a round, satiny mid-palate, concluding with a saline finish.

The 2016 Ladoix 1Er Cru les Joyeuses has an open and expressive bouquet that is more floral than its peers, lovely wilted rose scents developing in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, feminine and understated, but there is real length and precision here. It is one of the best wines that I have tasted from the domaine from this vineyard.

The 2015 Ladoix 1er Cru Les Joyeuses has a clean and pure bouquet with redcurrant jam and boysenberry fruit that unfolds nicely in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin. This Ladoix is nicely structured with plenty of sappy blue and red fruit, adorned with a focused, orange rind-tinged finish.

The 2014 Ladoix 1Er Cru les Joyeuses has a lovely nose that is very well defined: real pinoté here and fine delineation. The palate is very detailed, very precise with a fine line of acidity, elegant and poised finish full of pinoté. This is highly recommended and an excellent Ladoix from one of the villages best winemakers.
