A wine made in reasonable quantities is the 2015 Condrieu Pagus Luminis, which was brought up all in barrel. Fresh and lively, with classic white peach, hints of apricot, honey and flowers in its medium-bodied, supple, tropical and juicy personality, it should be drunk over the coming year or three.

Less rich, yet more fresh and focused than the Condrieu Breze, the 2014 Condrieu Pagus Luminis gives up textbook notes of apricot, buttered citrus and lychee nut. Medium-bodied, beautifully fresh, elegant and almost racy on the palate, it has tons to like, will be versatile on the dinner table, and drink well for 3-4 years.
