Including 4% Cabernet Franc, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Mountain Estate Vineyard has classic scents of black currants, cedar, bay leaves, touches of sweet spices, flowers and a hint of milk chocolate. The palate is medium-bodied and restrained, with a grainy frame and well-woven freshness lifting the finish.

Deep ruby-purple, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Mountain Estate Vineyard opens with gregarious crème de cassis, chocolate-covered cherries, graphite, leather and spice box with notes of thyme, turned earth and eucalyptus. Medium to full-bodied, it floods the mouth with intense, youthfully wound fruit, framed by grainy tannins and great freshness, finishing very long. This is vibrant and intense and will require another 3-5 years of bottle age. 952 cases produced.

The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Mountain Estate Vineyard is deep garnet-purple and sings of crushed blackcurrants, black cherries and wild blueberries with nuances of lilacs, baker's chocolate, cigar box, pencil lead and truffles. Full-bodied and laden with black fruit and savory layers, it has a fantastic foundation of very ripe, grainy tannins and seamless freshness, finishing with amazing length. 635 cases produced.

The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Mountain Estate Vineyard is tightly knit, but rich, impressive and well-endowed with plenty of black fruits, cedar wood, and hints of barrique and earth. It is full-bodied and will probably benefit from several years of bottle age, and can be consumed over the following 15-20 years.

The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Mountain Estate Vineyard shows slightly bluer fruits and touches of graphite and dark raspberries in a medium to full-bodied, zestier, refreshing and crisp style. It should drink nicely for 12-15 years.
