Here's a very pretty and fresh rosé made with Campania's versatile Aglianico grape. The Feudi di San Gregorio 2021 Irpinia Rosato Visione opens to a pretty salmon-pink color and offers immediate aromas of rose powder, iris root, gardenia and crushed chalk. The bouquet is very floral, and you could throw in some violet and lilac as well. This is an ample production of 100,000 bottles.

Packaged in a frosted ribbed bottle, the Feudi di San Gregorio 2020 Irpinia Rosato Visione is a pure expression of Aglianico fermented off the skins to render the pale pink color with polished copper highlights you see here. There is plenty of easy and approachable freshness here, and the wine is nicely balanced to offer acidity and staying power.

The Feudi di San Gregorio 2019 Irpinia Rosato Visione (in its pretty ribbed bottle) is fresh and snappy with wild strawberry and cassis dressed in dried mint, crushed stone and bitter almond. The wine is simple for sure but also abundantly satisfying and fresh.
