The 2021 Pinot Noir Roosevelt is intense and expressive this vintage. Medium ruby-purple, it opens with streaks of graphite and pipe tobacco accenting a core of crushed cherries and smoked meats. The medium-bodied palate is impressively concentrated yet offers soft, silky tannins and seamless acidity. It's full of fragrant fruit and has a layered, spicy finish. It's a touch more coiled than the other 2021s in this lineup and will benefit from 3-5 years in bottle.

The 2019 Pinot Noir Roosevelt comes from vines planted in 1993. It has a medium ruby-purple color and alluring scents of red cherries, blueberries, charcuterie, aniseed and iron. Light-bodied, silky and concentrated, it has very fragrant fruits, silky tannins and juicy acidity that calls you in for another sip on the long, allspice-laced finish.

Medium ruby-purple, the 2018 Pinot Noir Roosevelt has a nose of dark cherries and berries with hints of tar, dried flowers and earth. The medium-bodied palate offers dark, perfumed fruits with a firm, juicy frame and long, spiced finish.

The 2017 Pinot Noir Roosevelt has a pale to medium ruby color and a nose of garrigue, licorice, red currant, cured meats and forest floor with nuances of blackberries and savory herbs. It’s medium-bodied with intense, spicy fruits, a firm, grainy frame and great freshness, finishing long and spicy. 400 cases produced.

The pale to medium ruby-purple 2016 Pinot Noir Roosevelt has an open nose of warm black and red cherries and berries with touches of cinnamon stick, dried leaves, red licorice and floral perfume. Light to medium-bodied, silky textured and very concentrated, it fills the mouth with ripe black and red fruits and spice, with a firm frame of grainy tannins and mouthwatering acidity, finishing with wonderful layers and a touch of salty licorice. 300 cases produced.
