The 1998 Pinot Noir Roosevelt (labeled as simply "Oregon") is pale to medium garnet in color with aromas of salty black licorice, black cherries, savory sautéed mushroom, mossy bark and forest floor. Light to medium-bodied, it's silky in the mouth, still showing some black fruits under savory/earthy layers, smoked meats, pepper and saline emerging toward the finish.
