Aromas of mint, crisp stone fruit, pear and freshly baked bread introduce the 2020 Puligny-Montrachet Les Reuchaux, a medium to full-bodied, satiny and supple wine that's fleshy but precise, concluding with a long, saline finish.

The 2018 Puligny-Montrachet Les Reuchaux mingles aromas of citrus oil and pear with hints of white flowers and pastry. Medium-bodied, pretty and fine-boned, it's a lively, charming wine that misses some of the concentration found in a top vintage.

The 2016 Puligny-Montrachet Les Reuchaux has a light, pretty, beeswax-scented bouquet that, frankly, I preferred to the Meursault Genevrières this year. The palate is crisp and tensile with bright Granny Smith and pear notes, the finish needing just a little more cohesion. But otherwise this is a fine village cru Puligny.

The 2015 Puligny-Montrachet Les Reuchaux felt a little austere on the nose following some of more lively Meursault Les Narvaux. The palate is well balanced, a little viscosity on the entry with moderate weight, gently building in the glass and actually improving quite a lot over five minutes. Fine, but not a long-term proposition.
