The 2016 Beaune 1er Cru Les Aigrots offers up a rich, fruit-driven bouquet of maraschino cherry, dried flowers and dark chocolate. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, velvety and succulent, with a fine-grained but firm chassis of tannin that asserts itself on the long, sappy finish.
