The 2006 DUM VINUM SPERUM is 100% Chardonnay. It comes with a screwcap. The oak is a bit too prominent, particularly on the finish, but this is otherwise a very elegantly wrought wine, focused, precise, bright and flavorful. As it sits and warms, it becomes more and more attractive, the acidity cutting through the oak and the fruit finally emerging, but the oak always remains a bit too prominent. It is a solid wine with some grip on the finish, more evidence of the good things Skouras does with international grapes.
