Only made in exceptional vintages, the 2016 Cairanne Hommage a Andre Brusset is a 50-50 blend of Grenache and Mourvèdre, made without destemming. It's rich and velvety without being overly alcoholic, weighing in at only 14% alcohol, according to Brusset (it's labeled at 13.5%). Dark fruit flavors abound, picking up delicate spice notes on the long, silky finish.

Last of the Cairanne releases, with only 2,700 bottles produced, the 2012 Cairanne Cuvee Hommage A Andre Brusset is gorgeous on all accounts. Made from mostly Grenache, with the balance Mourvèdre, it offers tons of raspberries, crushed violets, spring flowers, licorice and garrigue to go with an ultra-pure, elegant and medium to full-bodied feel on the palate. Making the most of the vintage, with integrated acidity and a supple, character-filled personality, it will evolve nicely through 2022 or so.

The late-released cuvee, the 2000 Cairanne Cuvee Hommage a Andre Brusset boasts notes of sweet cherries, black truffles, and pepper in a dark ruby/garnet-colored style with good acidity, medium body, and a heady finish.
