An elegant, indeed even airy nose is comprised mostly of red cherry and floral elements though there are background hints of wood and earth. The delicious, suave and very rounded medium weight flavors possess solid mid-palate concentration before terminating in a balanced and solidly long finish. This is really quite good and worth a look.

A subtle application of wood sets off fresh and layered aromas of violet, warm earth and a mix of red berry scents. Here too there is a good sense of underlying tension to the delicious and saline-inflected medium weight flavors that possess ripe tannins that are just prominent enough to notice on the round and rich finish. This will also drink well young and reward mid-term aging if desired.

A very spicy and notably earthy nose of both red and dark berries marries into punchy, delicious and admirably complex medium-bodied flavors that possess good verve and fine balance. The supporting structure is also quite ripe and while there is again some wood evident on the finish, this remains a lovely villages.
