Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2020 Clos Floridene is redolent of black cherry compote, ripe, juicy plums and redcurrant jelly, plus suggestions of dried Mediterranean herbs, mossy tree bark and Sichuan pepper. The medium-bodied palate offers mouth-coating black and red fruit flavors with a firm, chewy backbone and plenty of freshness, finishing with an herbal lift.

Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, the 2019 Clos Floridene has a bright, expressive nose of redcurrant jelly, wild blueberries and mulberries with hints of tree bark, tilled soil and allspice. The medium-bodied plate is chock-full of black and red fruits, supported by chewy tannins and seamless freshness, finishing earthy.

The 2018 Clos Floridene is deep garnet-purple colored with a nose of bright black and red fruits, cassis, meats and woodsmoke. The medium to full-bodied palate is chewy with a savory finish.

Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2017 Clos Floridene gives up aromas of coffee, fragrant earth and dried herbs over baked black cherries, warm plums and boysenberries. The palate is medium-bodied, firm and chewy with a good core of muscular fruit and a spicy finish.
