The gorgeous aromatics of the 2000 Riesling Schlossberg Cuvee Ste-Catherine display honeysuckle blossoms, assorted white flowers, and minerals. Medium-bodied, this generous wine coats the taster's palate with powerful honeyed mineral ("out the wazoo!" read my notes) and pear flavors. This powerful, concentrated wine should be drunk over the next 12-14 years. According to Laurence Faller, this highly regarded estate's winemaker, "unquestionably 2000 must be considered one of the finest vintages of the last decade.
