The 2009 Pinot Bianco is a superb entry-level white redolent of crisp pears, green apples and flowers. This clean, focused white delivers tons of class and elegance in a vibrant, piercing, yet beautifully balanced style. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2013. The most impressive wines I tasted this year from Alto Adige came from Cantina di Terlano. Simply put, these are reference point wines.
