This agile, finely chiselled wine shows brilliant balance, an almost electric texture of acid and tannin, and wonderfully intricate layers of fruits and spices. Raspberries, cranberries, orange zest and balsam build on the palate and linger on the finish. Best from 2027.

Soft and velvety yet very fine texture with a medium to full body. Open and juicy with strawberry and cherry character as well as potpourri and sandalwood. Roses, too. Best after 2026 but already very attractive and caressing on the palate.

With fruit from Serralunga d'Alba, the organic Ceretto 2019 Barolo Prapò is a natural extension to a portfolio of wines that represents some of the greatest cru sites in the appellation. This wine shows the extra power and fruit concentration that this site is known for, and there is a pretty touch of sweetness as well, with dried cherry and raspberry, that softens the mineral tones and iron-rich aromas. This wine balances both power and elegance, not an easy feat.

Elegant and firmly structured, with a linear profile revealing floral, berry, earth, hay and sweet spice flavors. Sleek and succulent, with a long, mouthwatering finish that echoes fruit, spice and picks up a mineral element. The 2018 Barolo Prapò is firm, structured and built like a little tank. This organic wine showcases that distinctive power that is always part of the Serralunga d'Alba playlist and defies even this lower-intensity vintage. The bouquet shows dark fruit, ferrous earth and crushed stone. The mineral character is strong in this wine.
