The 2007 Camparron Crianza is 100% Tinta de Toro aged for 6 months in American oak and 24 months in bottle prior to release. It exhibits an attractive nose of cedar, tobacco, mineral, earth notes, and red fruits. Medium- to full-bodied on the palate, it offers up excellent depth and concentration, savory red fruit flavors, plenty of spice, and a lengthy, pure finish. The 2003 Camparron Crianza was aged for 6 months in American oak. It elevates the spice component a bit and there is plenty of black cherry and blackberry flavor in this supple-textured effort.
