The 2018 Sangiovese Rose opens to a nose of soft cherry, strawberry, soft spice and subtle red floral tones. Medium-bodied, the wine is dry and delivers pleasure at a great price point. It has a lingering finish with notes of wild strawberry and would be lovely to drink on a hot summer day. Just under 16,000 cases were produced.

A good rose, the 2014 Columbia Valley Sangiovese Rose sports a vibrant pink color to go with clean, crisp notes of strawberry, raspberry and citrus. The palate is lightly textured, clean and crisp, and this is a nicely balanced effort. Drink it over the coming summer months.

A consumer favorite, this cherry-flavored rose is 100% Sangiovese, ripe and round. Finished dry, it has so much fruit that there is an impression of sweetness. Forward and appealing.——P.G.(7/1/2011)—— 88
