Containing a 4% splash of Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2017 Syrah opens with classic aromas of black pepper, black raspberry and dark cherry. Medium-bodied, the Syrah has an open-knit approach and straightforward expression, then lingering with an uncomplicated finish. Only 1,841 cases were produced.

The 2012 Syrah is classic in style, with ripe blackberry, pepper, spice and hints of dried herbs all emerging from the glass. Medium-bodied, balanced and easy-drinking, with mid-weight aromas and flavors, it’s a solid effort that will drink nicely for 5-7 years. The value-priced red wines begin with the 2008 Syrah Tulip Label. Purple in color, it exhibits pepper, earth notes, and assorted black fruits among its aromas.
