The 2007 XINOMAVRO is beautiful, elegant, full of flavor, bright and intense, with excellent aromatics. The acidity and tannins on the edges will support the fine depth of fruit here very well. It is likely to be one of many fine 2007 Xinomavros. The more I tasted, the more I liked the vintage. Drink 2011-2024. Poised to become one of Greece’s best wineries, this young winery looks like it has hit stride with the 2007s. The Xinomavro style here is different than in Naoussa, the winery says, and you can taste it, too. The winery says their wines have more red fruit, less tannins, higher acid.
