The 2014 Cannonau di Sardegna Riserva shows warmth and concentration. This dark and rich expression delivers a pretty succession of black fruit flavors with plum, prune, moist earth and mild touches of exotic spice. The wine is rich and substantial in terms of mouthfeel with enough girth and grit to pair with game meat or spicy grilled sausage.

Balanced and medium-bodied, layering light, creamy tannins with flavors of ripe black raspberry, graphite, anise and fig cake. Offers a citrus-tinged finish. Drink now through 2021.
