One-hundred percent Cabernet Sauvignon aged 22 months in 100% new French oak, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Morisoli is very deep purple-black in color and opens with very serious notes of blackcurrant cordial, plum preserves, baked cherries and blackberry compote with hints of dried Provence herbs, tobacco leaf and black pepper plus a waft of cedar chest. Big, rich, full and solidly structured with super ripe, grainy tannins and great freshness, it finishes long with a menthol lift. 170 cases produced.
