The 2015 Sauvignon offers a rare glimpse of this fragrant grape executed in a sophisticated style with exacting winemaking techniques. The wine undergoes 12 days of skin maceration during fermentation, followed by one year of aging in Slavonian botte. There's no mistaking that intensity, depth and the slightly oxidative winemaking approach. It produces textural richness and ripe fruit flavors of apricot, dried tangerine, papaya and pineapple. The wine unfolds evenly over the palate thanks to its mid-weight consistency. Only 4,000 bottles were produced. This wine should continue its evolution over the next 5 years.
