The 2009 Red Wine San Lorenzo is a blend of 70% Zinfandel and 30% Petite Sirah that works beautifully. The fruit shows exuberance, class and personality from start to finish. This San Lorenzo is the most expressive and complete of the 2009s I tasted from Seghesio. Layers of juicy red fruit flow effortlessly to the gracious, deep finish, while higher-toned floral notes provide lift and freshness. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2024. The Seghesio family planted their first Zinfandel vines in Alexander Valley in 1895, the early days of a rich heritage that continues to this day under the leadership of Ted Seghesio.Tel.
