The 2008 El Coto de Imaz Seleccion Aniversario Reserva shows a little more color and concentration than the regular 2008 Coto de Imaz Reserva , but they share a common, very commercial profile, mixing red and black fruits with sweet spices, licorice and a touch of wood. The palate has no edges in either case, with balanced acidity and freshness, clean flavors and aftertaste. They are both drinkable now and should last for a few years. Drink now-2016. El Coto has a huge production (they can ferment 39 million kilos of grapes!) and a wide portfolio which is available worldwide.
