The 2014 The Custodian Grenache has a pale to medium garnet-purple color and nose of baked red currants and raspberry preserves over sautéed herbs, black pepper and underbrush. Medium to full-bodied with a chewy texture and predominately earth and herb-inspired flavors, it finishes just a little hard.

Tangy and juicy, delivering briar and forest floor notes to complement the dense blackberry and plum core, this strikes the right balance of generosity and concentration, with dried herb and spice notes lingering.
