For Ribera del Duero, this is a very good value. The wine shows some early sulfur and gaseous aromas, but with time those scents fade away and what’s left is a medium-to-deep Tempranillo with a hint of sharpness but mostly dark fruit and stacked, chewy tannins. Drinking this for $15 should elicit a lot of bargain-driven satisfaction.——M.S.(6/1/2008)—— 88
