The 2007 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is very pretty in this vintage. Soft and caressing throughout, the wine offers up red cherries, flowers and spices, all of which come together in the exotic, ripe style of the vintage. Avignonesi’s Vino Nobile can be inconsistent, but in 2007 it shows a gorgeous juiciness to the fruit that is impossible to resist. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2013.
