Deep purple-black in color and intensely scented of blackcurrant cordial, preserved plums and dried mulberries with touches of cedar, sandalwood, spice cake and licorice, the full-bodied 2012 Jimmy Selection Shiraz is voluptuous in the mouth with the richness of preserved black fruit and anise flavors nicely offset by firm chewy tannins and balanced acid.
