A medium-weight Pomerol with less aggressive oak than I’ve noticed in the past, this blend of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc comes from a small 7.5-acre parcel. It exhibits a dense blue/purple color as well as sweet black cherry and black currant aromas intermixed with camphor, barbecue smoke, licorice and graphite characteristics. Medium-bodied with sweet tannin and an attractive finish, it should drink well for 10-12 years.
