This was a cuvée that was only sold in Spain, the 2012 Ultreia is full-cluster fermented in an oak vat from different vineyards in Valtuille de Abajo, mainly from the Villegas zone. It is very aromatic and flowery, with a mixture of red and blue berries and some spicy hints and traces of malted cereals. The palate is medium-bodied, with meaty tannins, deep flavors, good acidity and freshness. It is approachable and easy to drink, but it will also age well in bottle.
