Sweet red cherries, flowers, game, mint, licorice and tobacco are some of the notes that take shape as the 2010 Pinot Noir Ocean’s Ghost opens up in the glass. This is a fairly delicate, perfumed Pinot graced with lovely overall balance and tons of personality. The finish turns a bit gamy and fleeting as the intensity of the fruit trails off slightly. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2020. I very much like what I tasted from Bryan Babcock this year. In particular, a handful of the 2010 Pinots are flat-out gorgeous.Tel.
