Louis Martini's 2021 Sauvignon Blanc is 88% Sauvignon Blanc, sourced from Yountville and further south in Napa Valley, and 12% old-vine Sémillon (planted 1886) from the Monte Rosso Vineyard in Sonoma. One-third was barrel fermented in mostly used oak, while the rest went into concrete eggs and stainless steel. The result is a crisp, medium-bodied wine with scents of grapefruit, fig and melon, a slightly grassy tone on the palate and a long, silky-textured finish.
