There are four single vineyard wines from Ermitage in 2005, including the 2005 Ermitage Les Greffieux. This wine has an inky purple color, a beautiful, sweet nose of creme de cassis, powdered chalk, licorice, and some smoke. Ripe and very fresh, with bright floral, licorice snap and cassis bush notes leading the way for plum sauce, blackberry and raspberry fruit flavors.
