The 2018 Sicilia Lucido is a pure expression of the native Catarratto grape. This unoaked wine opens to a bright, straw-gold appearance and delicate perfumes of white flower, orange blossom and blanched almond. This is a tonic and clean white wine that would pair next to Thai salad or even a more standard Chinese chicken salad. The finish is lean and crisp but also very floral in character. An ample 100,000 bottles were made.
