The 1999 Pinot Noir Knox Alexander's high acid is nearly out of balance, resulting in a certain austerity. But there is no doubting the clean, crisp, tangy, cherry and currant fruit, subtle wood, and earthy undertones. Acid lovers will enjoy this Pinot more than I did.
