The Chambolle-Musigny Village 2011 has a very pure bouquet with red cherries, wild strawberry and redcurrant notes that are neatly entwined with the oak. There is great vibrancy here. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent ripe tannins, good acidity and superb salinity on the taut, sour cherry-infused finish. Excellent - a village cru that actually surpassed some premier cru under blind conditions!
