The 2009 Morellino di Scansano shows off gorgeous mid-palate pliancy and fleshiness in its radiant fruit. A soft yet generous finish makes this giving wine a great choice for drinking over the next few years. The addition of 10% Malvasia Nera and 5% Alicante add complexity to this Sangiovese-based red. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2016.
