Surprisingly youthful, with a deep purple color, saturated and young looking, Rockford's 1992 Cabernet Sauvignon has a grapy blackcurrant nose with sweet, chewy fruit, plenty of fat, full body, and a vigorous, youthful, balanced style with unobtrusive tannin, acidity, and alcohol. The wine is long and seemingly just coming into its plateau of drinkability. It should continue to hold for at least another 12-16 years.
