Most people who buy this estate's red wines want to get as many of Clair's Gevrey-Chambertins as possible. The Gevrey-Chambertin-Clos St.-Jacques possessed gobs of sweet berry fruit and a nice touch of spicy oak, but did not seem to have quite the potential or complexity of the Les Cazetiers. It is a delicious wine for drinking over the next 7-8 years.
