This is the most expensive of the winery’s new Cabs. It’s also the fruitiest and most in need of time in the cellar. Right now, it’s a candied blast of blackberries and cherries. The tannins are sweet and chunky, and the oak isn’t integrated with everything else. It’s awkward. But it should develop for a good 6–8 years, maybe even longer. The score reflects its potential.——S.H.(2/1/2010)—— 92
