Vinyes Domenech’s purple-colored 2007 Furvus is a blend of 70% Garnacha and 30% Merlot aged for 12 months in seasoned French oak. Lightly roasted aromas of earth/mineral, lavender, espresso, black cherry, and black currant lead to a full-bodied, dense, velvety-textured, opulent offering. Confected creamy fruit nose. Good spicy fruit palate with refreshing crisp acidity. Made in a leaner style with a good balance of oak and fruit. Multi-dimensional in structure. Alc: 14.5%.

Deep, ripe, pure black fruit aromas feature leather and oak accents. The palate has a nice feel and good balance; it’s tight, minerally and deals toasty berry, snappy pomegranate and chocolaty spice.
