Tasted from magnum. The '86 Gran Reserva offers a very deep, youthful garnet color, and the aromas show an alluring midpoint between youth and maturity, with fresh blackberry and floral notes mingling with spice, toast and vanilla accents. It's rich on the palate, but soft and tender, as ripe tannins beautifully support the sweet blackberry and black cherry flavors.
