Argiano's 2013 Rosso di Montalcino is a plump and cheerful red wine with bold cherry matched by dusty mineral tones. It offers a noticeable level of sweetness in the mouth, but that fruity softness is matched by fresh fruit flavors and the natural acidity you get with Sangiovese. It would be great to pair this wine with a slightly sweet dish such as simple pasta topped with fresh tomato sauce.
