The only white I was able to taste, the 2011 Chardonnay Coastview Vineyard is gorgeous. Deep, rich and layered, with ripe golden fruit, brioche, lemon curd and vanilla, it flows onto the palate with rich, supple texture that carries good overall freshness, big fruit and plenty of toasted nut notes on the finish. A rich, upfront Chardonnay that’s beautifully made, it should be consumed over the coming couple of years. Drink now-2015.
